Headquartered in Lisbon, Portugal, Haitong Bank provides corporate and investment banking services to clients in their local and international markets.

The Bank’s activity in Portugal is organised under several units:

1. Head Office, which comprises the Treasury and Deposit activities, the latter via the Bank’s own Online Deposits Platform;
2. Fixed Income, a distribution platform for debt products and OTC derivatives, capturing the flow between clients in different regions where the Bank has a presence;
3. HGAM, a vehicle for managing Haitong Bank Group collective investment undertakings, capitalising on Haitong Group's know-how in Asian assets and its solid track record in European assets;
4. Portugal Branch (created for management information purposes only), comprising the following business activities:
   - Corporate and Project Financing – development of financing solutions and provision of services to clients based on the Bank’s long track record and expertise in project finance, acquisition finance and other credits;
   - M&A Advisory – Financial advisory services on local and cross-border transactions both on buy- and sell-side, as well as company valuations, restructuring advisory, and feasibility studies;
   - DCM – origination, structuring and execution of market-oriented debt and equity instruments, providing services to corporates, financial institutions, public companies and state-related entities;
   - Corporate Derivatives – provision of tailor-made solutions to clients aiming at optimising their hedging strategy against an increase in interest rates, exchange rate variations and in fixing the cost/sale price of raw materials.
